February 2011 Renewable Recyclers manage Liverpool Council E-Waste Collection Event

Renewable Recyclers were selected by Liverpool Council to manage the Liverpool Council E-Waste Collection event which was held on Saturday 19th February 2011.

The event was a huge success which resulted in the following outcomes:

  • 753 vehicles/residents dropped off e-waste over a 6 ½ hour timeframe
  • 57.91 tonnes of e-waste collected and diverted from landfill

May 2011 Renewable Recyclers recruit new Business Manager

With Alison Perizi the current Business Manager about to embark on the journey of motherhood a new Business Manager has been recruited to take Renewable Recyclers forward.

Miles Lochhead has been appointed into the position and commenced with Renewable Recyclers on Monday 9th May 2011.

Miles comes to the PRA / Renewable Recyclers family with over 17 years Local Government experience, prior to Renewable Recyclers Miles was the Resource Recovery Manager for Wingecarribee Shire Council in Moss Vale, NSW.

Miles was instrumental in establishing the multi-award winning Resource Recovery Centre (RRC) at Wingecarribee Shire Council and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in resource recovery and reuse. We are very excited to have him on board.
